 That was quick!  Into the second month of the year already, and the festival of Imbolc, which announces the first stirrings of spring in the air and the earth.And despite the occasional snowy surprises, it really is possible to feel the season changing: our first snowdrops are out!

As is appropriate for the winter months, we have been quietly laying the foundations of new developments here at the centre, and we are delighted to announce that our gorgeous new Enchanted RealmTherapy Suite is now finished, and looking quite stunning:

20th 10.30 - 4.30 Yoga and NLP : East meets West to help understand and work with your mind.  Day 2
This is 2 days of workshop combining the esoteric teachings of the East with some very effective NLP tools from the West.
This workshop is very practical as we take some very useful understandings of the way that the mind works from NLP and make it relevant for yogis (and others) who are trying to control their mind and/or work with meditation. It contains the strongest tools that I have found for detaching from the mind and allowing the state of witness consciousness to blossom (witness consciousness is considered by some to the most important teaching of esoteric yoga for evolutionary development). Using a structure which also pulls a lot from Patanjalis Sutras and Sri Aurobindos thoughts on consciousness and how the mind works we will go through the workings of the mind and therefore how thoughts, tendencies, habits, attachments, etc are created, and put it into the bigger picture of the ultimate goals of yoga or how it is relevant for your daily life.
I then introduce the vedantic meditation technique of Ramana Maharishi which is wonderfully simple and yet proven to be successful by its tradition and the great practitioners who advocate it.
You shall be introduced to techniques on the first date which you should then work with until the second date to really experience the teachings first hand. (extended workshop from the 'understand your Mind' 1/2 day).
All are welcome.     £45 for one day, or £75 for both (£35/ £60 for full time students or repeaters)

Magical Unicorns (for children aged 5 - 12)
Magical, messy, creative, educational but most of all fun!
Come and learn about unicorns, pick your magical accessory to take home, decorate your very own magical heart shaped wish-box, write three special wish strips, enjoy some relaxation/meditation exercises and join us on the unicorn treasure hunt.
Disposable aprons, wish boxes, paints, glitter, crafty bits and bobs, magical accessories, info & colouring in packs and wish strips etc. all supplied.  Booking essential - only 10 places per session. £20 per child

Return of the Unicorns
Our three hour ‘Return of the Unicorns’ workshops are designed to enhance self-esteem, promote positive thought and help bring about change. On top of that, they are great fun and allow you to get messy with paint and glitter and crafty bits and bobs.
The structure involves a series of meditations, an opportunity to meet and connect with your own unicorn, an interactive ‘create your own believe box’ session, information on the historic, spiritual and Scottish significance of unicorns, a believe ritual, the sealing of your affirmations and finishing off with a feel good factor game.
You will take home your own unique believe box (see Lunicorn’s believe boxes which retail at £35), a unicorn tattoo, a piece of rose quartz and an envelope of compliments. Oh, and did we mention you can keep the disposable apron too? £35 includes materials

It is rare to describe who we are in terms of our place in the family that we grew up in, where our home root was, and who our ancestors were. Yet our family and ancestors are hugely influential on the choices we make and the emotional bonds that we forge.
When someone in the family is excluded, or there is an event or entanglement that is not seen or acknowledged by the rest then this has an effect on the family as a whole. Patterns, events and burdens from the past are carried down and are repeated through generations leaving an emotional, physical and spiritual imprint on the individual as they follow the fates of those that have gone before.
The events of previous generations that can impact in the present are many and far reaching. Situations of war, violent behaviour or experience of violence, murder, early deaths, loss of children, abortion, adoption, addictions, missing parents and siblings, and previous relationships all leave an imprint on the family if left unseen and unacknowledged.
Family constellations and ancestral patterns work provides an invaluable opportunity to explore these patterns and bring to light that which needs to be seen.   £75
