Deasy Bamford & Midge Naylor : African Drumming
Deasy has been drumming for around 20 years, and has worked with teachers and performers all over the world. Midge is a regular performer and drummer for dance, she was taught by Sekou Keita, Henri Gaobi, Ayodele Scott and Alphonse Touna. Midge also works closely with Deasy Bamford & the “Tribe of Doris” event.

Bob Cuff and Barry Smith: African Drumming
Bob and Barry have been playing the djembe for several years, having performed across Britain as part of several bands, including Waa Sylla drum and dance, as well as running drumming workshops.
Bob and Barry have been, and continue to be, taught by some of the World's leading drummers such as Nansady Kieta, Mockolo Sawane and Baba Kone. They bring to their workshops a wealth of rhythms, beats and teaching techniques to enable the very beginner to the more confident drummer. Most of all, drumming is about having fun, and this is at the heart of every workshop they present.

Maarten Elout

Juan Gabriel Guttierez : Ancestral Sounds
Juan Gabriel was born and brought up in Bogota, Colombia out of a musical background and was encouraged and influenced in particular by his grandmother Gladys Sayer who was a famous opera singer in her own right. His musical talent began early and continued with classical and popular studies of guitar, piano and singing. His father and grandfather were deeply spiritual, which Juan Gabriel inherited, and so the environment was ripe for him to mature into the inherently sensitive, spiritual and musical person he is today.
More recently he has studied Tibetan Buddhism and vibrational sound healing, using traditional instruments and his own voice to create ancestral and mystical sounds, and consequently he has developed a profound experiential and philosophical understanding and practice of both. These practices have evolved, particularly over the last two years, thanks to the wisdom and teachings given by his teacher Jan van der Stappen –a renowned shaman, medicine man and healer who has gained direct experience from different ancestral and cultural traditions worldwide- and Jill Purce. Diane Maine
Artist Diane Main attended Glasgow School of Art for 6 years, studying drawing and painting, gaining a BA (hons) in Fine Art, furthering her studies and practice she attained a Masters Degree. Diane has been teaching for many years, sharing her knowledge and passion for art with students of all levels, appreciated for her thoughtful, inspirational manner, which supports all students to fully engage with their own creative experience and expression.
Through teaching Diane developed a deep interest in the creative process itself, enouraging students to form, give attention to and develope an awareness of their own creative process, the backbone of creativity. This intrigue led her to explore art forms and pratice from many cultures and traditions, how it assisted and developed a deeper understanding of our own inner process.
Historically, mandala art has been used throuought the world for self-expression and spiritual transformation. DIane is still unearthing the potential of the mandala as an art form, it's revealing and healing capacity.
She will share her own personal journey in discovering this powerful art practice, and how it has assisted her own healing, and given it expression. ...but the main reason she is sharing this art form is that she believes in it and wishes others to experience this creative form, and it's connective possibilities to ourselves and spirit.

Fionn Tulach
The current main teacher of the Ceile De, Fionn Tulach, is also head of the Order. The Celtic Spiritual tradition has been her life for almost thirty years.
From 1985 until 2002 she also worked, under the name Fiona Davidson, as a bard - a teller of the sacred legends of the Gael, a singer, poet and harper. During that time she toured the world performing and has recorded several albums.
